• Account Information: When you use LinkStashr, we automatically create an anonymous account with a unique authentication token. If you choose to complete registration, we collect your email address.
• Links and Content: We store the URLs you save, along with metadata such as page titles, descriptions, and preview images fetched from those URLs.
• Categories: We store the categories you create to organize your links, including custom names, icons, and colors.
• Usage Data: We may collect basic usage information such as when you access the service and general interaction patterns.
• Support Messages: If you contact support in the app, we store your support thread and messages so we can respond.
• Device Information: We may collect basic browser and device information for service functionality and troubleshooting.

How We Use Your Information

• Provide the Service: To save, organize, and display your links and categories.
• Authentication: To identify you and secure your account.
• Link Metadata: To fetch and display preview information (titles, images, descriptions) for the links you save.
• Sharing Features: To enable you to share categories with friends if you choose to use this feature.

Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you services. You can request deletion of your data at any time.

Your Rights and Data Deletion

You have the right to access the data we have about you, request correction of inaccurate data, request deletion of your data, and export your data.

How to delete your account: Open LinkStashr, tap the Settings icon, scroll to "Delete Account", tap "Delete", and confirm. This permanently deletes your account, all saved links, all categories, all friend connections, and all shared category permissions. This action cannot be undone.

Alternatively, contact us at privacy@linkstashr.com to request account deletion. We process email requests within 30 days.

Cookies and Local Storage

We use local storage on your device to store your authentication token and preferences. This data remains on your device and is essential for the service to function.

Third-Party Links

LinkStashr allows you to save links to third-party websites. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those websites. We encourage you to review their privacy policies.

Children's Privacy

Our service is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you believe we have collected such information, please contact us.
